The substance and character of solid oak

The Coniston Collection is Priory Hardwoods’ range of traditional solid oak plank flooring. Made using slow-grown oak from France’s Loire region, it offers the natural variation, warmth and reassuring solidity associated with a genuine timber floor.

Coniston boards are typically supplied at 20mm thick and are available in a variety of widths and timber grades. The collection can also be combined with Priory’s extensive range of colours, textures and finishes, allowing the appearance to be tailored to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

This style of solid oak flooring has long been used in characterful settings such as pubs, restaurants, hotels and heritage-inspired interiors, where the natural grain and variation of the timber become part of the overall design.

Suitable for:

From classic natural oak to a completely bespoke finish

Coniston can be supplied in a broad selection of colours and surface treatments, allowing the same solid oak board to take on very different characteristics.

A smooth or lightly brushed finish can retain a clean and traditional appearance, while flaming, bandsawing, distressing and deeper textures can introduce greater age, depth and individuality.

The final surface can be completed using an appropriate lacquer, hardwax oil or other Priory finish, depending on the required appearance and level of protection.
