Stable, versatile engineered timber flooring

Rydal combines a genuine hardwood surface with a multiply birch plywood construction, creating a stable flooring option available in a choice of thicknesses, widths and timber grades.

OVERVIEW

Engineered for

greater stability

The Rydal Collection is Priory Hardwoods’ range of multiply engineered timber flooring. Each board is constructed using a birch plywood substrate with a hardwood wear layer bonded to the surface, combining the natural character of timber with the dimensional stability of an engineered floor.

The standard specification is typically 16mm overall with a 4mm hardwood wear layer. Alternative 13mm and 21mm constructions are also available, together with 4mm or 6mm wear layers and a selection of board widths and timber grades.

Its engineered construction makes Rydal particularly suitable for projects where a traditional solid timber floor may not be appropriate. It is also designed for use over underfloor heating, subject to the correct product specification and installation requirements.

Suitable for:
Projects requiring the appearance of a hardwood floor with the additional stability and flexibility of an engineered construction.

Tailored to your preferred look

Rydal flooring can be personalised with a broad choice of colours, textures and protective finishes from the Priory range.

Choose a smooth and understated appearance or introduce more character through brushed, flamed, bandsawn and distressed surface treatments. The finished floor can then be coloured to complement anything from traditional interiors to more contemporary schemes.

Availability may vary according to the chosen timber grade, dimensions and surface treatment, so the final specification should be confirmed with the Priory team.
